Images, conversation and body sensations.... you matter, get involved.

When you focus your awareness on the illness more than the cure, the condition of the illness
could be enhanced by the very mechanism you are intending to use to cure it. The ideal thought forms for self healing would include a picture, a sound, a smell, a taste a texture, and body sensations combined into one sensualization practice. Your mind body is evolving itself all the time - it's time for you to get involved. ~Eric

'Seduction of the Mind' -- Nita Goyal

I completed reading 'Seduction of the Mind' today. Beautiful! Nita, you've done it.

".....not knowing that finding the secret of the mind was the same as space-time for both were one and the same thing. She was amazed how mind acts as a mirror and in the absence of thoughts and concepts, in moments of clear perception, it ceases to function, and the self luminous higher being flashes forth from within, as the sea of energy filled with bliss and completeness."

I've struggled finding a way to express this moment of clear perception... thank you for sharing you love, helping others remember who they are. ~ Eric

Straight talk...about the veils of illusion.

Science is now revealing that all human beings have the capacity to regulate their own nervous systems. This capacity has always been with us. The ancients pointed to this ability thousands of years ago. With daily practice you can begin your own personal transformation, taking responsibility for dissolving the veils of your illusion. What are you waiting for? ~ Eric

Imagination....."you have imprisoned yourself in it...."

“You have projected onto yourself a world of your own imagination, based on memories, on desires and fears, and you have imprisoned yourself in it. Break the spell and be free.” – Nisargadatta

By applying specific mental practices, we dis-identify with the emotional noise of the limbic system.

With Practice, we can evolve into a new state of being -- an evolved awareness. The practice is revolutionary and the results are evolutionary for all of human kind. We have the science and we understand the mental disciplines necessary to sever our unconscious emotional identification with our fear based survival instincts of the limbic system. By applying specific mental practices, we can learn to dis-identify with the emotional noise of the limbic system. We remain aware but are not at the affect of the ancient emotional brain. By practicing 'non-response techniques', we severe the feedback loop to the limbic system, creating, with intention, a new feedback loop free from the limbic system. The new feedback loop feeds on itself – stillness. ~Eric

The 'objective observer' - a state of being.

"This state of being is not based on standard prefrontal control of emotions, in which there is inhibition and direction of limbic activity. Instead, with equanimity, the limbic system can fire however it "wants". The primary point of equanimity is not to reduce or channel the activation, but simply not to respond to it. This is very unusual behavior for the brain, which is designed by evolution to respond to limbic signals, particularly to pulses of pleasant and unpleasant feeling tones." Rick Hanson, PH.D -- Author "Buddha's Brain"

Thoughts in your mind lead to big changes in your brain!

We are 'practicing specific mental exercises to separate ourselves from the unconscious lower levels of our reptilian brain while simultaneously exercising the higher levels of the prefrontal executive brain. When we are practicing, we are participating in a natural process of deconstructing and reconstructing neural circuits in real time, it's not brain surgery, it's a natural process. ~ Eric

Practice freeing yourself from the reptilian brain.

Neuroscience is advancing our understanding of the capacity to participate in the evolutionary process at a blinding speed. We now know how to free ourselves from the unconscious, not so evolutionary, reptilian brain -- within a state of awareness -- enabling evolution of the neuroaxis. ~Eric

How Atmos Yoga works.

Atmos Yoga employs posture, breathing and guided mental exercises taught by an expert instructor. Each day during the program, you will practice new meditation skills for 20 minutes and journal some brief sentences to your instructor. In addition, during the program you will learn the science behind Atmos Yoga: how biochemicals in your body both stimulate and regulate your nervous system, and how different achieved brain states affect these occurrences. Throughout the course of the program, you will receive the support necessary to successfully complete your daily practice. By the end of the program, you'll have the knowledge and skills necessary to continue getting results on your own and effectively incorporating them into your life.

How can I master my mind - body intelligence?

How can I master my mind - body intelligence?

You can master mind - body intelligence by practicing internal exploration. There are three stages of internal exploration. Each of these stages elicits alpha brain waves.

The "Alpha Access" is the 'bridge' to emotional mastery. ~ Eric

Artifacts of perception -- images, conversation, body sensations.

In the presence of, identified with the source, the infinite, you are the I AM. Everything else is an after thought, an artifact of perception. ~ Eric

Identification with the physical -- how to opt out.

Friends -- Your nervous systems record and store all experience in the physical body. You recall all experience through the filter of the those recorded memories. You have the capacity and may choose to 'opt out' of this system. Curious? ~ Eric

We have a way out! Eliminate operator error!

"We weren't given a nervous system that would get us into stress, however, without also being given a way out. ---- Anxiety, fear, and depression are often not an unavoidable human condition - they are part of the misuse of the system of attention, which we understand poorly. The problems are more an operator error, a matter of how we deploy our attention, not realizing that deployment deeply affects our nervous system." A Symphony in the Brain --- Jim Robbins

In The Practice 8 week course, you learn how to deploy your attention, turning your attention onto the the lens of the perceiver. ~ Eric

Atmos Yoga -- Be Curious - 20 minutes a day can change your life!

There are now many types of meditation techniques based on ancient spiritual traditions. However, even experienced meditation practitioners often do not know whether they are consistently entering into alpha/theta brainwave states that are associated with optimal meditation.

The Atmos Yoga Advantage
Atmos Yoga is concise, effective and verifiable. It uses a series of precise mental exercises that elicit specific emotional states based on understanding the body's neurochemical processes of the body. Neurofeedback technology is used to verify that you are entering the specific brain wave states associated with meditation, enabling your body to achieve optimal health.

Muscle tension and emotional stress... think about it.

"The repression of physical and emotional stress relies, in part, on muscle tension, from the head to the feet - tension that usually has been present so long people don't realize it exists, in the same way people adapt to background sound and don't even notice it is there." Fehmi -- The Symphony in the Brain - Jim Robbins

In the 8 week practice course, we Practice to elicit alpha brain waves, these brain waves enable the physical body to let go of the background tension, relieving stress. ~ Eric

Imagine space, only space... what does space feel like?

"As soon as the eyes are closed, one is imagining space, and there is a complete absence of images; the whole brain stops working hard and synchronous alpha takes over. It is a healing state, Fehmi says, and has a powerful effect on stress." excerpted - Symphonony in the Brain - Jim Robbins.

Opening up my focus...

Today, open up your focus - allow your eyes to be lazy, do not attach your attention or give meaning to the objects around you. Notice, observe, notice your breath. This Practice elicits alpha brain waves. ~ Eric

My nervous system is a feedback loop!

My nervous systems pays attention to its self, it learns from its self. If I don't practice every day to extend the range of my experience I become hardened, less flexible, I have less range of emotion. With practice I can invite my nervous system to join into the silence, the stillness of my mind. My nervous system now pays attention to silence. Imagine that! ~Eric
